September Community Actupuncture Seminar in Boulder, CO

This course clarifies the essential skills for competent practice and administration of a community acupuncture clinic. Practical, clinical training will focus on how to identify the most commonly presenting patterns associated with pain, stress, anxiety and depression; as well as treatment pointprotocols for alleviating these patterns. Emphasis is on clear and quick diagnosis using tongue and pulse and a minimum of questions. Students will learn the essentials of how to manage a community style clinic as well as suggestions about how to approach hospitals and other western medical professionals about including such a model in more mainstream settings.
